Today i am taking part in a workshop presented by Charlie Dark. The workshop is about using your skills to the best of your abilities in the media Industry. How to access networking, the advantages of networking. Working in groups, to create team bonding, coming up with ideas for products etc.

WEBSITE

I have created a website for the music video (Falling) to help promote the artist and the video. To view the video all you need to do is visit: www.jayvic.co.uk

The website is consist of a music player, as well as photo gallery, up to date info, as the video and other news.

The website is a reflection and what i wanted to achieve, quality piece of work that everyone can enjoy.

EDITING

So the editing for the video is almost completed, i have created a music player for the download option on my website. I had a few technical issues with the creation of the music player using flash. I enjoyed working in dreamweaver, it was my first tim using the program but it was a great experience.

I will try to convert the video once finish into a flash file, so that i can insert it into my website. I like using final cut pro and photoshop as well. I learnt a lot using these different types of programmes etc.

Poster

The Poster will give details of my aims for the project. It will feature a photo of the artist and detail information that will help my target audience identify with the product.

Business Card

My business logo will be a black panther, the business card has to be simple yet effective. I will include my email address and telephone number/ mobile number. The business card will have as little text as possible, emphasising the main logo of the panther. The connotation of the panther is that the panther is ready to pounce at anytime, fast and cunning.

website for urban RnB singer JayVic, all the songs are original and the ring tones. i have used 9 pages on my website, i am including: downloads, ring tones, bio, gallery, home, news, tours, discography, and video. this will be a complete website when finished.  i directed the video for JayVic therefore this is my own work.
